Bethany Rommel, MD Joins Manning, Rommel & Thode Associates as a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist

Manning, Rommel & Thode Associates are excited to announce that Bethany Rommel, MD will be joining their team on September 8th, 2020. Dr. Bethany Rommel specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology with an emphasis on cataract surgery, ocular surface disease, and glaucoma management. She will see patients at their 2115 Noll Drive Lancaster, PA location. 

Dr. Bethany Rommel was born and raised in Lancaster County.  She is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College.  During her time in medical school she received numerous Clinical High Honors as well as devoting her time to serving her community as a patient advocate and clinical director of JeffHOPE, a student run health clinic that provides care for underserved patients.  

She completed a medical internship at Abington Memorial Hospital and completed her residency program at the West Virginia University Eye Institute.  In addition to her extensive training in Ophthalmology she is also versed in international studies.  She graduated with honors from the University of Toronto with a double major in Botany and Comparative Religion.

Dr. Rommel has presented her research and publications for the advancement of the Ophthalmology specialty and has been involved as a Principal Investigator for clinical trials in the field of ocular surface disease.
