April 29, 2021 Update
At Manning, Rommel and Thode Associates, we are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff. During this period of uncertainty, we have implemented extra precautions to ensure everyone stays healthy. You may be wondering what your upcoming appointment experience will be like with the many changes happening daily. We want to assure you that we are practicing all recommendations from the CDC regarding use of PPE, disinfecting of all surfaces, screening patients and following social distancing by minimizing schedules.
For your appointment, please come prepared to wear your own facemask (covering both your nose and mouth) throughout your visit at our office. Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. We also request that you come alone to your appointment. However, if you need assistance, you may have 1 person in the office with you. Children may be accompanied at their appointment by 1 parent/guardian.
Upon entering the office, you will proceed to either the check in desk or the optical center (following CDC recommended social distancing guidelines) where you will be greeted by a staff member who will take your temperature and ask you a series of COVID-19 screening questions. We will then request your insurance card and a photo ID to scan into your patient chart. If you have a list of medications, please bring it along and present it to your technician to review.
Upon the completion of your appointment registration, you will be offered to sit in our waiting area until called by a member of our team to begin your visit. When your appointment is complete, you will be escorted to the check out desk to schedule any follow-up appointments and collect any co-pay or payments due. If you received a new eyeglass prescription, you may pick it up in the optical center at this time.
